Ladies, March 7, 2021
We have definitely been challenged as God’s People to find new ways to watch over each other as a Zionic Family during trying times. 2021 seems to be starting off with those same challenges. The need to watch over one another is so important in these Last Days as the adversary tries his best to destroy true joy, hope and love. Today, more than ever, we need to be “valiant” in visiting which is being “valiant in testimony”. We know, that God provides a way for us to do what He has commanded us. In faith, through prayer, God can help us find creative ways to be able to reach out to one another.
There are currently 50 families who we are not seeing at church. Our branch theme for this year is to “Be Zion”. What a wonderful opportunity we have to “Be Zion” through visiting. We can prayerfully reach out to these families and let them know we love them and are thinking of them. Some live many miles away but are still a part of our family. Some have challenges that make it difficult for them to come and worship with us at this time. Whatever the reason may be, it is so important that we check on them and “Be Zion” with them.
We are sending this letter to you to see if you can help us be valiant in our visiting. We would like to give you a list of names for you to prayer over and contact. We know you have so many gifts and talents that you may find some creative ways with God to add that “personal touch” which we all need to uplift, encourage, and support one another. We have some ideas that may help and you may have others as well that you can share.
We are going to meet on Sunday afternoon March 28th at 3 p.m. at the church to share ideas how we can be “valiant” in Women’s Visiting even in challenging times. We will also have Zoom available if you cannot attend in person.
If anyone would like to start now to visit, please contact Laurie King. Please feel free to reach out to Laurie at any time with any thoughts on Women’s Visiting.
And now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another's burdens, that they may be light; Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times, and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life:
